Pandora Charms Evokes Cherished Memories
So my daughter had her 21st Last week.
So I asked her what her favourite gift was?
I was surprised when she said a Pandora Beads.
My daughter Laura got a Pandora Bracelet when she was 13, so shes had it for a long time.
Her sister Celina also got one, but she lost it years ago. She didn’t seem too bothered when she lost her bracelet.
I can’t say I have ever bought any Pandora Charms.
You could say, I’m slow on the Uptake because I never really got what the attraction was to these small charms.
I could not see the value in these tiny silver keepsake trinkets.
So I was Curious as to why Pandora Charms were her favourite.
So then Asked why? It’s just a Silver Bauble you can add to your Bracket. So what’s the big deal?
So she called me over & showed me her Pandora Bracelet.
Her face lite up as she started explaining the Occasion when she got each Charm. Who gave her the Charm & what Memories, it stirred up.
- I got these 2, for my 21st, From my Boyfriend & Mum…
- This one when we went to Disneyland with my Grandparents…
- Mum gave me this when I did my HSC…
And on she went on describing how each of these Charms represented a precious memory with a loved one.
So for Laura, these Pandora Charms triggered Happy Emotions of events in her life.
I had not realised that each Charm was an anchor point in her life.
So why am I sharing this with you?
