So let me ask you…
Does your business have more marketing systems than a Subway Sandwich?… Are you sure?…
For most businesses, I Would say that’s a Big Fat NO!
Because you see, the numbers don’t lie…I’ll come back & answer the Subway Sandwich Question… Is that Ok? I promise!
So according to the ABS (Australian Bureau of Statistics) 44 small businesses close their doors on an average day…
90% of small businesses (1-5 people) will fail within the first 2 years & it gets worse as only 5% will survive 5 years…

And just so you can see real numbers:
There were 299,123 new business during the 2008–09 financial year:
- 76 percent were still operating in June 2010;
- 61 percent were still operating in June 2011; and
- 51 percent were still operating in June 2012
So, in 4 years almost half of the businesses had closed their doors, of the 299,123 new business 146,570 businesses died & just 152,553 Survived.
Most entrepreneurs grind it out paying the privilege of being in business, because they’re stuck working 60 – 70 hours or more a week, – just to keep their head above water…
Not making sales is like a cancer, because it compounds on itself, creating bigger frustrations…
If you keep this up, You won’t have enough time for you family…
You can’t afford the resources to get the job done…
So you end up, becoming a slave to your business…
It’s tragic watching businesses which survive the latest financial crisis, only to go broke because they don’t know how to find profitable customers…
There have been countless Studies & the ABS Stats back this up:

You see it’s not your fault…
Marketing was not even offered when I was in High School. At least my daughter, now studying business in Year 11, gets this opportunity. The trouble is most marketing taught from a textbook with Case studies from mega size corporations. This has no relationship with marketing in real businesses, like yours.
So when its comes to Marketing, it’s all a bit of guess.
Most assumed the customers would turn up…
Many small business owners believe marketing is just strange voodoo tricking customers into doing business with you…
You see, nothing could be further from the truth. (Yes there are some charlatans out there, who would sell their grandmother if they thought there’s a dollar to be made.)
It’s not a choice. Either, you get a Marketing System or you’ll be closing your doors.

- 10 – A freshly baked Roll, crammed with your favourite delicious Filling…
Have you noticed that all their Subway Rolls look the same?
Sure there’s Honey Oat or Italian Herbs & Cheese or Wheat or Multigrain & even White, yet they still all look consistent…
If you get my favourite Italian Herbs & Cheese, then you’ll notice they’re always a uniform colour, size & taste…
What about the smell, of those freshly baked rolls?…
I Love the smell of fresh bread, and my mouth is watering already…
Bet yours is too?
or…
What about that crispy crust and the soft centre?…
This did not just happen by accident…
In fact, they were designed from scratch to be consistent…
Some would call this boring…
They would be so terribly wrong!…
It’s the precise sameness of their bread, which plays a big part in their success…
You see these baked subs gives a predictable outcome, day in day out…
So you know what, you’re going to get…
And then the magic happens when they stuff your favourite fillings into a fresh Lovely Sub…
You can get as creative as you want, with your fillings. I always go for the works.
What’s your choice?
Because you know just how damn good the Sub roll will be once you sink your teeth into it, and the hot spicy sauce oozes over your tongue…
If you’re like me, it dribbles down your chin…
Booya! That’s what I’m talking about…
